The Extended Stay Training Program works like this:

Your dog comes to our facility for a minimum of 4 weeks
to be trained on Basic Obedience Training.  The Basic
Obedience Training includes voice commands of Sit, Stay,
Down, Heel, Off and Autosit.  These commands are all
taught while on leash.   

While not in training, your dog is able to play at our
doggie resort (as long as it is dog friendly).  

We can also work on specific behavioral issues such as
chewing, nipping, mouthing, barking, humping, jumping
on counters, etc...  

After training is complete, we bring the dog back to your
home and train you on what it has learned.  Remember,
all the training in the world does no good if it is not
followed up by you!!   We ask that anyone who interacts
with the dog on a daily basis be present at the return visit
(about 2 hours long).

Superior Instructional Training
Happens @ Sit Happens!  From the
very beginning I had constant
up-to-date feedback from Beth on my
babies social & training progress.  
Beth emailed pictures of them showing
them socializing with other dogs at
Dushore and during their training in
obedience classes in Linden.  This was
important to me because my puppies
are the love of my life and I needed
to know how they were adjusting
during their 2 month stay.  Mischa &
Mikko loved their new surroundings
and the freedom to run and play on
acres of fenced in land.   They
received impeccable care and training
from Renee, Dan (and many others we
have never met).  We never could have
imagined the results gained with this
training.  They are two different
german shepherd dogs and for the
better.  They are socially adept and
listen and perform commands.  What a
difference this obedience/ behavioral
training has made in our lives and in
the lives of our babies.   We will
definitely be using Sit Happens again
for the next level of obedience
training and for boarding purposes.  I
cannot give enough praise for the
superb training, the compassion they
show towards your animals, and the
commitment to finish the task at hand

Bentley had once been a lovable playful companion when for
unknown reasons he gradually began growling at us, his owners!
His growling was getting progressively worse and he had taken
over our household. Everyone grew to be afraid of him, including
me. Our visitors were limited and even then, he was put away for
the sake of keeping the visitors safe. Bentley had become
unpredictable and dangerous.  We sought help and were referred
to Sit Happens.

We dropped Bentley off and both, Denise and Renee, were
instantly in control of our defiant brat. I must confess that
initially I was worried about the trainers' safety but at the drop
off, that thought quickly changed to us worrying about him.
Denise and Renee were confident that they could fix him. Through
a course of months at the extended training program, they were
able to modify his aggression and even pinpoint the cause of it. He
is back to his playful and affectionate self. Too playful now!!! Our
deepest gratitude for bringing back the puppy we all love.
